Evening Dedicated to Fighting Childhood Obesity! The Atlanta Suburban Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Inc. will host this holiday-inspired tasting event, complete with a
Silent Auction, chef demonstrations, live music and a Best in Cuisine Competition.
Join 40 brilliant culinary experts at the
historical Georgia Freight Depot---one of the oldest buildings
in downtown Atlanta. Built in 1869, the building served as the main depot for
the Georgia Railroad. Now 143 years later, The Georgia Freight Depot will set

General Admission Tasting tickets ($45) allows for unlimited tasting throughout the event from 6:30 p.m.–9 p.m. VIP ticket holders
($100) will be granted access to the tasting event, as well as served a
four-course winemaker dinner by some of Atlanta’s top chefs beginning at 7
p.m.

from this event will benefit Delta Kid’s Kitchen---a program designed for kids
to develop a healthy relationship with food---community outreach programs and
scholarships.
Delta Sigma Theta
Sorority, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 1913 with the premise of
promoting academic excellence, supporting the underserved and educating
communities on various issues that may impact them. Atlanta Suburban Alumnae
Chapter is one of the nine Delta Sigma Theta Sorority alumnae chapters in metro
Atlanta, addressing issues in the Atlanta community that affect public policy,
economic viability and social justice.
